Healthy Chips Guide. Become an expert at being able to find the healthy chips at the grocery store.

Ways to know your chips are healthy:

➡ The best oil is avocado or coconut oil. Olive oil is the second greatest choice. Avoid any vegetable oil like canola, soybean or grapeseed. They can become highly toxic when heated.

➡  From all the unhealthy chips like Doritos, cheese curls, onion rings… a bag of potato chips would be the healthiest option. The reason for this is because potato chips won’t have preservatives, artificial colors or flavoring or added sugar.

The sodium of your chips should be fairly low. Try to aim for under 200mg of sodium per  serving.

A USDA or Non-GMO label is great, but if you don’t see this it’s not such a big deal. However, when you are eating corn chips or corn based chips, you will want to look out for a Non-GMO label because corn is is one of the most generically modified foods. Pro tip: If a food has an organic USDA label, that means it’s Non-GMO.

Baked chips are by far a better option than fried chips.
