The main way to develop willpower is by using the muscle; the prefrontal cortex. Every time you use your prefrontal cortex by resisting a temptation or urge, you’re building up your willpower. The more you do this, the more you build your willpower.

Top 3 ways to build Willpower:

  1. Meditation: is good for improving your performance in your career, relationships and life. It’s the gym for the brain. It’ll resculpt your prefrontal cortex muscle. Recommended to start meditating for 20 minutes a day and it’ll help improve your willpower.
  2. Exercising: Every time you go to the gym, run an extra mile, or do that exercise routine you’re building up your willpower.
  3. Deep Breathing: it’s a good way to calm yourself down and come in touch with yourself. Breathe in for 4 seconds deeply and then hold it and then breathe out for 6 seconds. You’ll be more grounded, which results in having more willpower and being able to resist more urges on a calm mind.
